The best restaurant on the Weser and then in the middle of the city. A must for everyone from Bremen and tourists

Fun place for the kids to play in the sand or for a quick swim while parents relax and have a bite/drink.

Best conceivable location, great beach, food at a reasonable price and the pasta dish from the daily recommendations was the best I have ever eaten in my memory for less than 15 €. Number of seafood good, perfect heat, good oil, great herbal, very tasty! Fast service. It's great that something like this still exists in a small city!

Very nice place to relax. The entire outdoor area and beach is wonderfully clean. Ideal for children to play. The cafe makes a good, tidy impression, the staff are very courteous and friendly. Unfortunately, we only had 2 coffees, next time the food will be tried .

A nice café on the banks of the Weser with direct access to the water, its own beach, a terrace with a view and an overall nice atmosphere. The selection of food is manageable and the staff a bit rude and monosyllabic but friendly. You can spend a Sunday lunch here and eat delicious Knipp. Suitable for families who want to let their children play and a picnic-like excursion.

Incredibly unfriendly service, haven't seen anything like it in a long time. The older waitress was very snotty with us and the table next to us, questions are only given in an unfriendly way. You can save yourself the stupid comments in front of guests. The ambience is okay and the prices reasonable, but that doesn't make up for such an incident. I will refrain from visiting again.

Is a great place on the Weser. Staff rather sluggish at the counter, outside hardworking. Cake is delicious, prices are not really reasonable.

Absolutely recommendable restaurant / bar. Very friendly staff, great food at a great price! And a wonderful view of the Weser with swimming opportunities. Perfect to relax!

Great place to go with family, during warm days. The only thing I don't appreciate is that, if you sit outside the restaurant, at the tables on the grass, you can't order anything, you must go inside and face a long line to order and bring the food yourself. This can be tricky when alone with kids outside. But overall it is a great place.

Best Sunday afternoon coffee place. I enjoy staying outside with the beautiful view!

I love Cafe sand! It's an awesome place to chill, play sand volleyball, or get in the river when it's hot out. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed coming here so much we came back multiple times a week. The food is also delicious and the servers were great. Would definitely recommend coming here for a chill time and good food! The only problem is they should serve cocktails! We were disappointed to find they only served wine and beer.

You can lay on the sand or on the grass to take the sun and theb whether you wish to drink a coffee or beer or tea and eat a bratwurst or Pommes or soup is up to you but you find them all in this place. There's a Biergarten and a terrace with a view to the river. I wouldn't say the food is specifically good but it's a nice place for summer and you can take the little boat to cross the river.

Nice one on the edge of water with a beautiful view. Asusual prices are high compared to normal places (Of course you pay for the view)

We were finished eating and the party was starting with everyone standing up on the dancefloor. However, the DJ and bartender forced us to sit down again so that they could have us pay. It killed the vibe and they took ages to have us pay our bill.

Nice place for food and coffe.

Nice cafe, nice environment, nice location.. If it is a sunny day, you can enjoy the river with a cold beer while your child or dog playing on the beach :)

A large restaurant and beer house rather than cafe on small beach on river Weser. Lovely location and good beer !

Nice place (but not that much)

Recommendation. Bremen's beach by the river Weser, in the middle of the city. Many families here, young people, too. Beach volleyball court, playground for kids and lots of space. View over the river directly across Osterdeich. The restaurant here has outdoor food stations, there's a beer garden and a nice cafe. Across the road behind the cafe you can find a big children's playground.
